A Freshman at Lafayette Renaissance Charter High, Heaven Riley Breaux is the daughter of Riley & Yolanda Breaux, and the sister of siblings Justyn and Jasen Breaux. She is the granddaughter of Cynthia Winfrey Roosevelt Harris,  the late Barbara Breaux and Riley Breaux Sr.

Heaven has deep roots in Opelousas Louisiana. Her mom grew up on The Hill and Brickyard, and attended Southwest Elementary, Opelousas Jr. High and Opelousas Sr. High.

Heaven is a faithful member of Mt Pilgrim Baptist Church where Rev Chad Ned is her pastor, and she is a junior usher. Living in Opelousas, she recalls walking down the streets of the Brickyard with her granny Cynthia Winfrey and her great grandmother Annabelle Kimble Winfrey. She says she loved that every house they walked by had someone they would stop and talk with for what seemed like hours. She loves the bond and love that Opelousas citizens have for their neighbors.

Heaven decided to run for Miss Louisiana Teen USA representing OPELOUSAS Louisiana as our very own Miss Opelousas Teen USA.

Ms. Breaux is vying for the Miss Louisiana Teen USA title on January 26-27,2024 in Metairie, LA. She hopes to bring home that title to Opelousas. She would love to tell all the younger girls to continue to DREAM BIG! TAKE UP SPACE. BE SEEN AND HEARD. Being inspired by Miss South Africa 2019 who won Miss Universe, she hopes to also inspire others. She would like to thank the city of Opelousas and Mrs Rachel Babineaux.

In the past, Heaven held the titles of Our Little Miss Louisiana State Preteen Queen, World’s Living Doll Queen, 1st Runner Up Junior Queen for National American Miss, Top Model Runway Winner, Miss Lafayette USA Preteen Queen. She is currently Miss Pelican State USA Preteen Queen.

In a message to St. Landry Now, Opelousas Councilwoman Delita Broussard said: “Heaven decided to run for Miss Louisiana Teen USA representing OPELOUSAS Louisiana as our very own Miss Opelousas Teen USA. As a lifelong resident of Opelousas & a City Council Woman, I join the rest of our city saying we are Proud to have Ms. Heaven Riley Breaux representing Opelousas. We wish her the best.”
