The Kiwanis Club of Opelousas has provided four local women with an award for Women’s History Month.  The awards were given “for being woman with commitment and  passion for serving others while making an impact and leading with purpose”.

Award recipients are

  • Karen Cox, for her ongoing support of Kiwanis thru Kalaco Solutions and for her support of community.
  • Katrina Brown with for her cake donations thru Tout Doux for Kiwanis fund raising and her commitment in supporting Kiwanis.
  • Cassandra Ardoin Richard, with SkyPie Studio & Crafts for her volunteerism with Head Start and CASA.
  • Martha Wilhite, for her forty plus years of dedication in the education system and for assisting people in our community.
