Paula Mills and Dr. Ty Hargroder, cooking for the LHC Group, prepare to sample a taste of gumbo at the annual Gumbo Cook-Off held Saturday. Held in downtown Opelousas near Frank’s, is a day long fun filled event featuring local bands, auctions and of course some of the best gumbo to be found anywhere.
