CATALYST BANK WELCOMES CANDACE PAPILLION AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Opelousas, LA – Catalyst Bank is pleased to announce that Candace Papillion has joined their team as a
Business Development Officer. In this role, Papilion will be responsible for developing and managing
loan and deposit relationships throughout the bank’s footprint.

Papillion most recently served as Branch Manager and Consumer Loan Officer at The Evangeline Bank
and Trust Company in Opelousas, where she led daily branch operations, cultivated a high-performing
team, and increased deposits through strategic marketing and personalized customer service. She brings
with her over 20 years of service in the financial industry.

Papillion currently serves as Board President of the Rotary Club of Opelousas and holds positions on the
boards of the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Opelousas General Hospital Foundation, St.
Landry Economic Development, Opelousas Downtown Development, and the Opelousas Women’s Club.
