Opelousas resident Bailey Willis was recently crowned the 65th Miss Northwestern State University Lady of the Bracelet where she is a student. Following her graduation she is planning on a career as a teacher. Queen Bailey was presented to Mayor Julius Alsandor and the Board of Aldermen by Lavonya Malveaux while her parents looked on in the audience.
