Passing a good time at the Eunice Mardi Gras Sunday morning. Cold weather didn’t stop the revelers from gathering on Second Street in Eunice for a day of fun and frivolity leading up to the Fat Tuesday finality. Sundayl’s bands included Ervin Frey and Cajun Prairie, Kegan Navarre and Louisiana Traditions and Brasos Huval’s School of Music. Monday’s line-up beginning at 7 p.m. include Bubba Hebert and the New Morse Playboys and Travis Matte and the Kingpins. A full slate of activities are scheduled for Tuesday beginning with the Courir de Mardi Gras run beginning at the Northwest Community Center and riding through the Eunice countryside arriving on Second Street around 3 p.m. for ride into town. A full schedule of bands will be playing on Second Street throughout the day Tuesday.
