St. Landry Parish Government announces the new WIOA Workforce Director for the Local Workforce Development Area #40
PRESS RELEASE
Opelousas, LA – Parish President Jessie Bellard is pleased to announce that Mrs. Brenda Foulcard has been selected as the new WIOA Director for Local Workforce Development Area #40.
Mrs. Foulcard was appointed as interim director late last year and has been working diligently ever since. After a series of interviews performed by St. Landry Parish Government and the Workforce Board #40, Brenda was offered the position.
Jessie stated “she and I share the same goals in working for the parish and region. Through an extensive search for a new director, a recommendation was given and we acted on it. We’re excited to have her in this position.”
She has already begun working with the St. Landry Parish Government/WIOA administrative team and will continue to move forward.
