Despite near freezing temperatures about 75 pro life supporters met at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church Saturday morning for the 35th annual St. Landry Right to Life March.
Prior to the march the group met inside the church for a prayer service and to listen to keynote speakers Brittney Williams, Region IV Suicide Prevention coordinator The Family Tree-Joseph Crouch Suicide Prevention Services and Mika Hernandez, Opelousas Pregnancy Center executive director.
Following the church service supporters began a two mile march to the Opelousas Pregnancy Center where refreshments were served courtesy of the Catholic Daughters of America.
