Old Opelousas came alive Tuesday afternoon when the second annual Zyde Gras on the Square was held in downtown Opelousas with Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band providing the musical entertainment for no less than one thousad Mardi Gras revelers anxious to pass a good time dancing in the streets. Frank didn’t disappoint playing non-stop for over two hours without a pause. The large crowd showed their appreciation by dancing and partying continuously for the duration of the set. The event was sponsored by the St. Landry Parish Government.
