In conjunction with Black History Month Marcel will be presenting at the museum a history of black farmers in St. Landry Parish. “Negro Farmers of St. Landry Parish” knowledge wisdom and the best stories will be told at the museum on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The official opening of the museum will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m.
