Alderman at Large Marvin Richard got a headstart on Christmas when he and his assistants delivered Christmas gifts to needy families in Opelousas Wednesday afternoon. Helping with the delivery of the gifts and pictued with Richard are, from left, Sarah Walker, Connie Shakesneider and Nolan Walker. Also assisting with the deliveries were representatives from the Opelousas Marshal’s Office.
