A new year’s resolution and a bucket list in 2017 proved to be a second career for St. Landry Parish resident Tiffany Matt. She explains that she was always interested in photography and credits her stepfather, who was a U.S. Army trained photographer, for her interest in the art of photography. What started out as a hobby has now become a second profession. Tiffany is also a registered nurse employed by Louisiana Healthcare Connections.

On Saturday There was a grand opening celebration for her brand new studio and gallery located in her hometown, Washington, La. On display were numerous works of her beautiful photos which were admired by the many guests that attended the grand opening. Washington Mayor Dwight Landreneau was also there to wish Tiffany the best with her new studio and photo gallery.

In less than five years Tiffany has made quiet a name for herself. She is a member of the Louisiana Craft Guild and was a recent winner of the Big Easel Award in Lafayette. Her work can be seen at arts and craft events and festivals throughout Acadiana. She is now taking orders for senior pictures.
