On April 18, 2022 Officers with the Opelousas Police Department’s Special Operations Division served a search warrant that was obtained following up on information received about narcotics trafficking occurring in the area of the 1300 blk. of South Court St. in Opelousas. Officers had been surveilling the area for several weeks. During the surveillance officers  made several arrest for narcotics violations of persons that were all frequenting that same residence. After gathering further information officers were able to obtain a search warrant for a home where suspected narcotics trafficking was taking place. The execution of the warrant resulted in officers arresting Kamron Dirk Soileau who had in his possession heroin, fentanyl, crystal meth and various forms of drug paraphernalia.  Soileau has been arrested (5) prior times since 2019 for narcotic related charges, most recently in January of this year. He was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on the following charges:

Kamron Dirk Soileau, age 22, 1318 South Court St. Opelousas, LA. 70570, was booked Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS, possession of Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia. Soileau also had several outstanding bench warrants for his arrest, related to previous outstanding cases.
