Investigators with the Opelousas Police Department were able to identify two suspects in the homicide investigation that occurred at 719 Mia Street Apartment 523 inside the city limits of Opelousas, La. During the investigation, Investigators were able to obtain an arrest warrant on two individuals for (2 counts) of First Degree Murder, (3counts) of Attempted First Degree Murder, Home Invasion, and Felon in Possession of a firearm. On April 28, 2022 Investigators were led to the Baton Rouge area where they located and arrested the first suspect, who was identified as Felton James Martin that reside in the Lafayette area. Mr. Martin was arrested and transported to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department and booked in on the warrant.
Investigators are currently searching for a second suspect, who was identified as Davieontray Breaux that reside in Lafayette area. Mr. Breaux is aware that investigators are currently searching for him so if anyone comes into contact with this individual he should be considered armed and dangerous. Investigators are asking that you notified Law Enforcement if you come into contact with this individual.
