On the early morning 01.12.22 Officers with the Opelousas Police Department were following up on information that was received about narcotics trafficking occurring in the area of the 1300 blk. of South Court St. in Opelousas. Officers had been surveilling the area for several weeks. During the follow-up officers were checking out a suspicious vehicle in the area which resulted in officers arresting Kamron Dirk Soileau who had in his possession heroin, fentanyl and clonazepam. Soileau has been arrested (4) prior times since 2019 for narcotic related charges. He was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on the following charges:
Kamron Dirk Soileau, age 22, 1322 South Court St. Opelousas, LA. 70570, was booked for Possession of Schedule I narcotics, Possessions of Schedule II narcotics w/intent to distribute, Possession of Schedule IV Narcotics and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
