Public Notice:
The St. Landry Federation of Democratic Women will host its annual “Meet and Greet Democratic Candidates Event” on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.This event will be held at the Opelousas Civic Center on 1638 Creswell Lane, Opelousas, LA 70570. Doors open at 6:00 to the public.
The purpose of this event is to give democratic candidates the opportunity to educate th_e voters of St. Landry Parish on the philosophy and issues of their platforms. In addition, voters will have the
opportunity to have small group Q&A session with participating candidates.
All Democratic candidates are invited to participate. Each confirmed candidate will be assigned a station to display their campaign paraphernalia and to meet their constituents. :;
The public is invited and encouraged to come out and meet the candidates for the October 2023 election.
There will also be an opportunity to register to vote on-site and refreshments will be served.
