The DeLuxe Café, owned by the Etienne Daigle family, operated in downtown Opelousas during the 1930s and beyond. It was located on the north side of Landry Street between Union and Main streets, and at one time was on the Main and Landry streets corner. Locals and visitors ordering breakfast at the Deluxe Café enjoyed something special. The interior of the DeLuxe Café is shown in this photograph taken during the late 1930s to early 1940s.
