For those who love sports, and especially those who follow the LSU football team, here is a photo from the past you will enjoy. This photo shows some members on the Louisiana State University (LSU) at Baton Rouge football team in 1941. The three at the bottom of the photo are L-R: McKenny, Back; Lipkis, Center; and Dodson, Back. The three at the top of the photo are L-R: Kendrick, Tackle; Bird, Back; Hightower, Back. The image was part of the football program book for the November 29, 1941 game between LSU and Tulane. LSU won that game by a score of 19-0, which was an upset win since the Tulane Green Wave had what was considered a superior team that year. Imagine what that win was like 80 years ago!
