“We realize the great fortune of having a comprehensive university here in St. Landry Parish,” Kenneth Cochran, DSc, FACHE, President & CEO of Opelousas General Health System said.  “LSUE Has produced some of the finest athletes and allied health professionals in our region.  Opelousas General Health System will continue to partner with and support LSUE in its efforts of improving vitality of the communities it serves.”

Opelousas General Health is the new presenting sponsor for the complimentary streaming service that will have apps available for iOS and Android devices as well as OTT apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Roku by searching LSUE Digital Network.  Fans can also view games on the Bengals’ athletic website, www.lsuebengals.net.

The first broadcast of the new LSUE Digital Network will be on Wednesday, January 26 with a basketball doubleheader against Baton Rouge CC.  The women’s contest will kickoff the action from the HPRE Center at 5:30PM.

The LSUE Digital Network will be the home of LSUE Athletics, featuring home games from men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.  Fans will also be able to view exclusive video content including interviews and features.

“We want to give our student-athletes and LSU Eunice community a first-class experience in everything that we do and our partnership with Opleousas General Health will allow us to do just that,” LSU Eunice athletic director Jeff Willis said.  “This is an incredibly exciting time in the history of our athletic program, and we look forward to sharing it all with our community.”

The network will be housed through BlueFrame Technology as LSUE will become the first NJCAA/two-year school to launch their own apps through the company.

“BlueFrame is proud to partner with LSUE athletics on this major project,” said Mark Krug, BlueFrame’s Director of Partnerships.  “By utilizing BlueFrame’s Production Truck software and advanced streaming distribution service, fans of the Bengals will be able to watch all LSUE event broadcasts on the device of their choice in 1080p HD.  We are happy to work with one of the premier athletic programs in the NJCAA.”
