According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “On March 13, 2023 St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives received information that Keveius Harrison would be delivering 2 pounds of marijuana to an unknown person within St. Landry Parish.”
Detectives made contact with Keveius Harrison at the location and a probable cause search of the vehicle yielded a handgun, as well as 1063 grams (2 pounds) of marijuana. Keveius Harrison was taken into custody without incident.
The estimated street value of the illegal narcotics located inside of the vehicle is approximately $10,630.00.
On March 13, 2023 Keveius Harrison was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (marijuana) and illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a CDS
