October Networking Meeting on Thursday, October 19 at 9 a.m. at Big Hill Café at Brent’s located at 234 East Martin Luther King Drive in Grand Coteau.
The town of Grand Coteau has experienced a major leak in its water tower, causing the town to be without water for part of the day. As a result, Grand Coteau Elementary School will be closed today, August 15, 2023.

According to Sheriff Guidroz, deputies received information from St. Landry Crime Stoppers and a confidential source that a female identified as Heather Landry would frequent a residence and she was involved in the use and distribution of illegal narcotics with Chief of Police, Jeffery Guilbeau. Information was received from other confidential and anonymous sources.

Meet the 2022 Beau Chen Gators
Juneteenth National Independence Day falls on Sunday, June 19, 2022, this year. It is a federal holiday with most federal employees having Monday, the 20th, as a day off of work. It is also a new Louisiana State holiday celebrated on the third Saturday in June each year. State offices will be closed on Friday, with celebrations and activities planned for Saturday across the state.
