Veteran advocates Dorothy Thomas and Annie LaFontaine prepare po’boy sandwiches on Friday, Aug. 21, to benefit the newly renovated Thomas-LaFontaine Duplex located on Foster Street in Opelousas, The ladiers along with several volunteers prepared the sandwiches and delivered to the customers from 9am-2pm. Thomas and LaFontaine are also responsible for the annual Veterans Day parade that rolls through Opelousas on VeteransDay November 11.
