Opelousas, LA – St. Landry Parish Government announces an opportunity for businesses and entities within St. Landry Parish to secure the naming rights for the newly constructed Ag Arena stage situated on the Yambilee Grounds in Opelousas. This exciting initiative offers a platform for local businesses to enhance their visibility and community engagement while contributing to the entertainment scene in the area.
This week, we asked the community to place suggestions for possible stage names, and the majority of the response was to bid the name out to businesses in St. Landry Parish.
The naming rights bidding is open to all eligible businesses and entities residing within St. Landry Parish. In accordance with our criteria, the band stage cannot be named after a living person. It must bear the name of a business entity or a non-living entity. The chosen sponsoring business’s name will be prominently displayed as an integral part of the band stage’s identity (e.g., “[Sponsoring Business Name] Band Stage”).
Additionally, the selected business will enjoy exposure as its name takes center stage during all events and performances hosted on this platform. From the “[Sponsoring Business Name] Summer Concert Series” to other exciting gatherings, the sponsoring business’s name will feature prominently in the event title and branding. This dynamic visibility will be extended to all event-related materials, including posters, flyers, banners, and digital promotions.
A professionally designed sign, bearing the sponsoring business’s name, will be positioned above the band stage, ensuring maximum visibility and recognition throughout events.
The naming rights agreement encompasses a three-year period, commencing from the official date of the agreement signing. This provides the selected business with an extended window to showcase its commitment to the community and establish a lasting impact.
All bids must be submitted via our official website by September 12, 2023, at 11:59:00 PM. It is crucial to adhere to this deadline, as late submissions will not be considered. St. Landry Parish Government retains the right to accept or reject bids at its sole discretion, without providing justification.
St. Landry Parish Government is excited about providing local businesses with a unique chance to elevate their visibility while contributing to the cultural fabric of the community.
Interested businesses are encouraged to review the stipulations thoroughly before submitting their bids. This landmark opportunity not only solidifies a business’s connection to the community but also paves the way for enhanced cultural and entertainment events that will resonate for years to come.
