Voter Registration Information.
Opelousas, Louisiana – The St. Landry Parish Registrar of Voters announces a series of Voter Registration Drives in preparation for the upcoming fall election cycle. At these events, people will be able to register to vote, make changes to a current registration, and gain information on the absentee-by-mail program. The deadline to register or make changes in-person or by mail is September 13, 2023, and the deadline for online registrations and changes is September 23, 2023.

Additionally, there were several precinct changes made over the summer as a result of the statewide redistricting process. New Voter ID cards were sent to any voter who was affected by the changes.
