EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice has hired Brock Ogami as the second head coach of the women’s soccer program, athletic director Jeff Willis announced on Monday. Ogami comes to the Cajun Prairie after three seasons as the head coach of the women’s team at Spokane Community College in Washington.
The hiring of Ogami is pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.
“Coach Ogami was a standout candidate among a talented field of applicants because of not only his resume, but his approach to the coaching profession,” LSU Eunice athletic director Jeff Willis said. “He understands what it takes to build a championship level team both on and off the field.”
Ogami spent eight years with Spokane CC, serving the first five as an assistant before taking over the Sasquatch in 2019. Spokane CC qualified for the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) playoffs in each of his three years at the helm. The Sasquatch saw six student-athletes earn an All-Star Game selection including four in his first season.
