The St. Landry Parish School District nursing program has received several statewide honors which were recognized last Thursday. Michelle Savoy (middle of photo) was named one of 25 nurse honorees by the Louisiana State Nurses Association in District 4. School District nurse supervisor Sylvia Brown (right) was recently named a state finalist school health service provider.
