ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA – St. Landry Parish Government is thrilled to announce the remarkable success of its first-ever Community Clean-Up Day, held in the Lewisburg area. With an overwhelming turnout, over thirty residents came to dispose of trash accumulated in their yards and houses.

The event, organized by the St. Landry Parish Government, took place on Saturday, July 29.

Parish President Jessie Bellard, expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated, saying, “this is an awesome initiative for the parish. We have plans to go all around the parish and host these clean up days.”

St. Landry Parish Code Enforcement is making plans to host the next Community Clean-Up Day in Eunice, and the date is to be determined.
