With only 12 players, the Warriors had a small squad that year, The team had a 15-game schedule, with all games, except the one played in Mamou, starting at 7:30PM.
According to Bobby Ardoin, “there were two teams that summer — the Opelousas Braves and the Warriors, which were mainly players from Opelousas High School.”
