About the Cracklin Festival

The Annual Port Barre Cracklin Festival has been held every year since 1985 and serves as an annual fundraiser for the Port Barre Lions Club. Proceeds from the Cracklin Festival and other smaller events support the mission of a number of worthwhile causes including the Louisiana Lions Camp for children with disabilities and the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation.

Every year the festival continues to grow and flourish and this year promises to be no different with new activities currently in the works.
