The Annual Festival of Words is Coming to Grand Coteau on November 7th and 8th
Grand Coteau, Louisiana-Once again, the Festival of Words will be bringing readings by award winning authors, a student writing contest, and creative writing classes to the small community of Grand Coteau. Students from a local high school will swarm the streets of Grand Coteau and Sunset to perform Drive by Poetry. The Community Stage will offer a chance for authors to share their work.
Our Festival authors this year are newly crowned Louisiana Poet Laureate Gina Ferrara, Sheryl St. Germain, and Gabriel Houck. All three authors hail originally from New Orleans.
And the best part is, it’s all free. So mark your calendar!
