The Holiday Season is upon us—
a special time when family, friends, and loved ones near and far come together to share
memories, enjoy wonderful food, exchange gifts, and celebrate the spirit of fellowship.
It is also a time to pause and remember those who serve, who have served, and those we lovingly
carry in our hearts. Our military families and veterans give us countless reasons to be grateful,
not only during the holidays but throughout the year.
This year, the Bobby Dupre Welcome Center at the Veterans Memorial will feature a
“Tree of Life”—a heartfelt tribute honoring our heroes. Families are invited to place a
patriotic ornament or a military photo of their loved one on the tree as a symbol of
remembrance, gratitude, and love.
May this season bring peace, unity, and meaningful reflection to all.
