Bomb Threats at Leonville Elementary School

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, through our School Resource
Officer Division and Captain Thomas Kimrey, comes to St. Landry
Crime Stoppers and asks your help regarding bomb threats at
Leonville Elementary School.
On February 4 th and again on February 5 th , a person or persons
communicated a bomb/active shooter threat to authorities. This
threat represented a serious incident, necessitating multi-agency
response and the evacuation of the school. The phone
communication indicates the willingness to kill as many innocent
people as possible and goes into the resources available to perform
this despicable act. This act cannot go unpunished; we ask the public
to provide any information possible to assist us in protecting our
children.
