St. Landry Now correspondent Vaughn Goudeau submitted several photos of SWYFT crews laying new fiber optic lines along Highway 360 and Goudeau Road near Melville , delivering high speed internet to rural St. Landry Parish residents, The project funded in part by the GUMBO Grant replaces outdated infrastructure and will connect homes and businesses in long under served areas to reliable broadband. Crew foreman, Caleb Castillio said the upgrades are moving fast bringing modern connectivity to these communities. Work crew leader is Bsrody Simon.
