Another Successful Narcotics Operation Nets 15 lbs. of Marijuana

reports, “Narcotics
Detectives and elements of
the St. Landry Parish
Sheriff’s Office SWAT
Unit successfully
intercepted a drug dealer
with a large quantity (15
lbs.) of marijuana.
Operating on intelligence
gathered, detectives
learned of a narcotics
transaction due to take
place in St. Landry Parish.
Combining with assets from the SWAT Unit, a carefully-orchestrated take-down was performed
in the Grand Coteau area.” Sheriff Guidroz continues, “Such was the swift and choreographed
movement of the personal involved, the suspect was later heard to say, “Y’all humbled me.”
This represents the determination of the men and women dedicated to eradicate illegal narcotic
sales from our parish.” Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “If anyone out there thinks they will
indiscriminately move illegal drugs in St. Landry Parish, think again.”
