Loretta Richard, Acadian Special Volunteers representative, accepts a check in the amount of $1200 from the Knights of Columbus Council 3409 Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. The money raised for the Special Olympics comes from the group’s annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Council members also volunteers for ICONS Food Bank and donated 30 turkeys for the needy at Thanksgiving.
