What is Balfa Week? Balfa Week is an inclusive cultural immersion experience centered around an adult-oriented music camp. Participants from around the globe gather with Louisiana’s master musicians and culture bearers to gain knowledge and skills in Louisiana Cajun and Creole/Zydeco-style guitar, fiddle, accordion, rhythm/percussion, dance, French language vocals, food preparation, and folklife traditions. Louisiana-style meals and camaraderie are included with camp registrations.

Where is Balfa Camp? Most classes, workshops, dances, and meals during Balfa Week will occur on the campus of Lakeview RV Park & Campground in Eunice, LA. Lodging is available on campus with private or shared cabin options for RV, camper, or tent sites. Nearby hotel lodging alternatives and excursions are available.
