Career Ignite Youth Conference Extends Registration Deadline Through June 2nd
LAFAYETTE, LA. — Due to overwhelming interest, registration for the Career Ignite Youth Conference has officially been extended through Tuesday, June 2 at noon.
Hosted at the UL Lafayette Student Union, the free conference will take place Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is open to young adults ages 16-24 throughout Acadiana.
We’re anticipating more than 300 students from across the Acadiana Region to attend the event, which focuses on career exploration, professional development, and workforce readiness.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore careers in healthcare, information technology, and manufacturing through:
- Career workshops led by professionals
- Guest speakers
- Professional development sessions
- Networking opportunities
The event is designed to connect young adults with valuable resources, career pathways, and professionals who can help guide them toward future success.
