A proud grandfather let me know that his grandson was recently on nationwide television. The Hall of Fame sports writer and editor of St. Landry Now online newspaper Bobby Ardoin was surprised and excited to see his grandson, Jack Ardoin, perform with the ULL Pride Of Acadiana Marching Band during half time at the Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. ULL played a good game but went on to loose to Delaware 20-13. Ardoin is a freshman at ULL.
