Arrest Made in June 23rd Shooting Incident/Todd Stelly
On June 23, 2024, at approximately 10:55 AM, OPD responded to a shooting incident near
Church’s Chicken on N Main St. Stephon Reed was found with gunshot wounds and was
transported to Lafayette General Hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation, Todd Stelly has been charged with the following felonies:
Attempted Second Degree Murder
Possession of Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain
Felonies
The incident occurred in the 100 block of E Prudhomme Street, Opelousas, LA.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime is urged to contact the
