CONTINUING NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION BEARS FRUIT: ARREST OF

CONVICTED FELON ON PAROLE

PWITD Schedule II (Methamphetamine)
PWITD Schedule V (Codeine/Promethazine)
Possession of Schedule II (Crack Cocaine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia


Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “On August 18, 2025, our Narcotics Detectives had
established surveillance on the address of 213 Pleasant Run Road in the Leonville area.
Through the surveillance and the intelligence information gathered, a key narcotics violator was
identified. Detectives observed as Kendrick Mayon drove from the residence, officers were
able to establish probable cause and initiate a traffic stop. From the traffic stop, the detectives
were able to establish probable cause to search the vehicle and seize the following:

12 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine,
2.2 grams of suspected crack cocaine,
14 grams of suspected marijuana,
8 ounces of suspected Codeine,
3 ½ pills suspected to be Hydrocodone.
Narcotics Detectives were then able to secure a
search warrant for the residence, where the
following items were seized:
Nearly one pound of synthetic marijuana,
15 grams of suspected marijuana,
1 bottle of promethazine.”

Sheriff Guidroz continues, “Detectives learned
that Mayon is a convicted felon and currently out
on parole relative to drug charges.”
Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “This latest arrest and
seizure represents how the dominos fall; once you
are able to connect the bad actors in the criminal drug game, identify their methods and exploit
their weaknesses, they are sure to fail.”
