Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “A Crime Stopper Tip led Narcotics Detectives to the home
of Nettie Brown and her son, Khrystin Kimble. The tip centered around reports of gunfire at
night and of narcotics trafficking. The investigation resulted in a search warrant being issued
and the following items seized:
1 – 9mm pistol, believed to be illegally modified*, with an extended magazine,

[Type text]
2 – Digital scales,
1 – locked safe with suspected cocaine inside.”
Kimble is currently under house arrest for Aggravated Battery and Illegal Possession of
Weapons. He was hiding on the neighbor’s property when taken into custody, wearing an ankle
monitor. This investigation illustrates the value of the Crime Stoppers programs throughout the
United States. By allowing our citizens the ability to anonymously report crime or suspicious
activity without the danger of retaliation, law enforcement can make cases and bring the alleged
violators to justice.”
