Camp Burglary
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Deputy Tina
Stelly come to Crime Stoppers and asks your help in locating a
suspected burglar.
On May 5, 2025, a citizen reported a burglary of a camp located on
Courtableau Road in the Port Barre area. Video of the event shows a
subject arriving to the camp on a green 4-wheeler and leaving with
the items taken from the camp. The investigation subsequently
identified the suspect as Glacius Sherod Adams, who is familiar to
area law enforcement. While some of the items have been recovered
from a relative’s home, Adams has continued to evade law
enforcement. These are the photos taken from the property owner’s
cameras, which clearly show the suspect and the 4-wheeler used in
the commission of the burglary.
