Parish President Jessie Bellard and District 9 Councilman Wayne Ardoin checked out the overlay work on Tom Schexnader Road this week. The project to pave the gravel road cost just over $280,000 and is funded by the Road District tax in that district and the parish’s Smooth Ride Home program.
