Mother’s Incestuous Involvement with Her Children Results in Arrest

Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “This sordid tale began with the investigation of alleged sex acts between two
of Matt’s children under the age of 12. Matt’s failure to report the alleged acts resulted in her initial arrest. As
the investigation continued, Matt was alleged to have committed acts resulting in the “Contributing” and
“Indecent Behavior” charges. The investigation, which is still ongoing, has revealed evidence that resulted in
the last two charges listed above.” Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “Cases that reveal alleged interactions of this
type, especially among family members, can be the most challenging and complex investigations. The initial
and continuing work by the detectives of our Juvenile Division on this and all other cases has been exemplary,
despite the obvious difficulties. We hope and pray for justice and healing of all those affected.”
