When Elbert Guillory’s daughter Imani was just a child she thought it was better to give than receive especially at Christmas. So the family got together and decided to hold a toy drive which was held a week or two before Christmas. This has been going on for 30 plus years the latest held on Saturday, Dec. 13. Santa Claus was there holding court and having his picture taken with kids of all ages who were there dropping off toys for the less fortunate. Helping Elbert with the day long event were volunteers from the Elbert Guillory Law Office. It was a great day and many toys were collected. I only wish I could have been there as the toy drive is one photo assignment I hated to miss.
