Hope for Opelousas to Host Ribbon-Cutting Celebration for
New Junior High House
Opelousas, LA – Hope for Opelousas, a local nonprofit focused on providing tutoring
services and mentorship to the youth of Opelousas, is hosting a ribbon cutting for their
brand-new junior high house on Wednesday, December 4, at 10 a.m., followed by an
open house at 10:30 a.m.
Since 2008, Hope for Opelousas has welcomed hundreds of students to join their
family. The organization serves students from first grade up through 12th, creating and
fostering a safe environment for them to learn and grow. The installation of this new
building is part of their continued expansion to have the capacity to welcome more
students per grade.
