Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “From last night into the morning, Narcotics Detectives
worked in conjunction with a JAG Grant and uncovered information of a previously convicted
felon dealing in illegal drugs. Narcotics Detectives were able to establish sufficient probable
cause to obtain a search warrant for 599 Rozas Road, Eunice, LA.” Sheriff Guidroz continues,
“Due to the probability of risk associated with the operation, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s
Office SWAT Team was called in to assist. As a result, the following items were seized;
60 Clonazepam pills,
57 Amphetamine pills,
10 tabs of LSD,
5 Oxycodone,
30 grams of THC wax,
Approximately 9 grams of methamphetamine,
4 Xanax,
10 grams of marijuana,
1 H&R rifle,
1 Ruger rifle,
1 black digital scale.”
Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “The ability to use available grant funding, combined with the
efficient use of manpower and other assets, will ultimately bring these narcotics violators to
justice.”
