Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. The town of Leonville celebrated America’s birthday in style with their third annual fireworks display. Hundreds of residents set up lawn chairs sat in the back of pick-up trucks or just sat on the grounds on the banks of Bayou Teche to witness a non stop barrage of fireworks that lit up the night sky in celebration of America’s birthday. The event was sponsored by the town of Leonville and the Leonville Volunteer Fire Department.
