Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “On September 5, 2025, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s
Office Narcotics Detectives were conducting criminal patrol in the 3000 block of Grand Prairie
Highway in the Washington area. A tan Toyota Rav-4 was seen driving westbound crossing the
center line. A traffic stop was performed and the driver identified as Bailey Jordan was found
to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Jordan was arrested and the vehicle searched
for inventory purposes prior to being towed. The search netted nearly one kilogram
(approximately two pounds) of methamphetamine. The front seat passenger, identified as
Latasha Sue Donaldson, was also arrested in this case.” Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “Here we
have two people from outside St. Landry Parish, allegedly travelling through with a large
quantity of illegal drugs. Near or far, any attempt at trafficking narcotics in St. Landry Parish
will be met with the swift enforcement of the law.”
