The Northwest High boys and Beau Chene girls’ track teams recorded first place in their divisions last week as the 2025 St. Landry Parish Track concluded at Northwest High.
Northwest, which compiled 129 points,captured three of the boys’ relay events and used a number of strong field performances in the throwing events highlighted by the Raiders Curtis Harrison to move in front of second-place Opelousas High
The Beau Chene girls edged Westminster Academy (151-146) to capture the girls’ title.
Kaylei Brown of Beau Chene collected 28 individual points, while the Gators shared first place in the pole vault.
Westminster Christian Academy received three first places from Magnolia Henrich in the medium and long distance running events.
